Good Banarasi saree

I bought a Banarasi saree for my mom's birthday. It was pretty, just like the pictures. Took about a week to reach Delhi. Good quality for the price I paid.

Lehenga and custom blouse experience

I ordered a party wear lehenga and asked for a custom tailored blouse. The process for giving measurements online was easy enough, they had clear guides. The lehenga itself was nice, material felt good. The blouse stitching was mostly fine, just a tiny bit loose on one shoulder, but wearable. Delivery to Chennai took 8 days which is okay. Customer service replied within a day when I had a question about fabric care. Overall a decent experience.

Quick question on their custom stitching. I'm based in Delhi, how long does it typically take for a custom-tailored salwar suit to reach me after ordering? I have an event in about 3 weeks.

Hmm, for custom stitching, it usually adds a week or two to the regular shipping time. I think standard delivery for India is around 5-7 days, so maybe 2-3 weeks total? You might be cutting it close for three weeks, but it's possible.

Yeah, I had a custom blouse done, and it probably took close to 10 days just for the tailoring bit before it even shipped. Then shipping to my place in Mumbai was another 4-5 days. So you're looking at maybe 2.5 weeks minimum, I'd say. Better order ASAP!

Hey guys, thinking of ordering a lehenga for my sister's wedding from Sarees Bazaar. How accurate are the colors compared to the website pics? Like, I need a specific shade of maroon and don't want to get something totally off.

From my experience, they're pretty close. I got a blue saree last month and it looked almost identical to what was online. Just make sure your screen is calibrated if you're super particular.

Yeah, I've ordered a couple of times. Generally, it's good, but colors can look different on various screens, you know? Like, a little darker or lighter depending on your monitor. So maybe don't expect 100% exact, but it's usually not a huge difference.
